Shields & Defense Levels - An Anaylsis - Babalerina

Looked at what the outcome would be against an REF player named Babalerina,
he/she attacked me for a bit in December just before they declared war against us.

Babalerina's attack tech levels are: 9,11,8
The level I'm shooting for is: 9,8,10

According to the SI-Master Battle-Sim, its a tie when we both have 40 BS
he/she loses more ships than I do (28 vs 25)

When running sim with Babalerina having 40 BS & I having 20 Destroyers,
he/she loses more ships than I do (32 vs 13).

It looks like having slightly higher defense over shields can help reduce one's losses.
